Terms of Service
Effective June 8, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Brief First (the "Service"), provided by Brief First ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Brief First is a first-contact AI that conducts conversations with your prospects on your behalf and produces structured briefs from those conversations. We provide the Service on a subscription basis as described on our pricing page.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account. You must use the Service in compliance with all laws and professional obligations that apply to you, including any duties of confidentiality you owe to your own clients and prospects.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to send unsolicited messages, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service. You are responsible for the conduct of the first-contact agent configured for your practice and for the way you use the briefs it produces.
4. Your content and prospect data
You retain ownership of the content you and your prospects submit through the Service. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service — for example, processing conversation transcripts to generate your briefs. How we handle this data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have any consents required to collect and process your prospects' information.
5. Fees
Subscription fees are described on our pricing page and are billed in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on a prospective basis with reasonable notice.
6. No professional advice
Brief First is a software tool. The Service and the briefs it produces do not constitute legal, financial, or other professional advice, and they do not render a verdict on any matter. Professional judgment remains yours.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Brief First operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
