Café Marigold is the corner room with the flowers in the window — Dana plants the boxes every spring, and the name came with the habit. The coffee is roasted for us across town; Ray is in at four baking, and the case is full by seven.
The room runs on its regulars: the counter crowd at eight, laptops till the lunch rush, the school pickup at three when the cookies come out. Stay as long as you like — that's the point of the place. If a dish has a story, tap it — I know most of them.
